I was elated to find that 32 Exchange Place conceals a stunning ballroom and that it was within budget for my first event. I’ve hosted a few events here since and they’re a hit every time. I’m able to get away with minimal decor as the venue is already a work of art. Location is central, tucked in between some of my favorite buildings downtown…I’m still searching for other spots to keep things fresh for future events, but still have not come across anything that does the job quite like The Commercial Club.
The Commercial Club was the perfect venue for our wedding. It’s located downtown, just a 13-minute Uber ride from the airport, and allowed us to book a hotel block close enough that we didn’t have to pay for transportation. It also has the most gorgeous ballroom I’ve ever seen, a spacious bridal suite, and even a children’s room—everything we needed to create a memorable day that met the needs of our wedding party and guests. The first reaction of countless guests, wedding party members, and family was, “Wow, this is beautiful.” It’s truly an impressive space.
We couldn’t have been more pleased with the way the evening turned out. The space is exquisite, and feels grand while maintaining a sense of intimacy. We received compliment after compliment from our guests.
After researching practically every indoor venue in the Salt Lake area, it wasn’t even a question that The Commercial Club had to be my venue. It is beautiful, unique, intricate, and intimate. Everything from the chandeliers to the ceilings was calling my name.
This venue is such a gem as a photographer. Every inch of the building is gorgeous and there is a good amount of natural light in the main room. The blend of vintage charm and modern style makes it such an incredible location for events, weddings, or even a small branding shoot.
I had a photoshoot at The Commercial Club and was completely stunned with the building. There were so many amazing little nooks and crannies that made exploring the space with my camera and model an amazing adventure.
